On this most "chilly" Halloween...
It's nearly that time of the year again, when the corpses rattle restlessly in their caskets, when the ghouls sound a foul cry against the dark and cloudy midnight sky. It's nearly that time of the year when my husband rises from the Underworld to spread terror and laughter among the people of Tyria. He has spent the last couple of long cold nights trying to think up a new repertoir of fiendish jokes and it has left him screaming mad, yelling in the middle of the night and impatiently walking the halls of the frozen palace over and over again. While the King prepares in his own way for the event, the Queen is delighted to announce an alliance between herself and the master of events, Daniel Frozenwind. Yes it was the always cheerful party animal himself that approached the Queen and asked her if she would like to work together for this frightful occasion. Sensing a unique opportunity to make this the most memorable Halloween in the history of Tyria, the Queen thankfully agreed. More details will be released soon. So get your pumpkin crowns ready. It is almost time for an event that will be to DIE for. Ahahahaha!

The Wicker Ritual
A very long time ago, the druids of the Maguuma had a ritual of autumn, gathering the dead wood of the high plains and out skirts of there jungle they would bind it together in the form of a human, and offer the effigy to Melandru for renewal, thus the ash would rain down on there beloved jungle and provide nutrition. Much time has passed and the ritual has lost its meaning, constructing the wicker man during the time of autumn while the Monarch of Madness corrupting presence is at hand had adverse effects on the worshipers of Melandru and so the practise of constructing wicker men ceased for a time. Until a certain Queen had ideas of her own... How do YOU corrupt a snowman?
The Nights of the Minipets
This event is run by Bladeradio, it consists of giving away 400 minipets over three days (30th 31st and 1st) along side our event.
It will be in Lions Arch International 1 on those days.

Trick or Treat Challenge
This is a costume contest of Ghastly proportions! DO YOU have the best costume?
Things the Judges will look for:
* Scare factor
* Theme i.e of a certain monster.
* Orginality
* Effort
Prizes to be won include an undedicated Bone dragon, 100k and more!
Alterations to the costume comp:
Halloween King or Queen = Undedicated Bone Dragon.

Malafides Famous Joke Contest
Every year Mad Queen Malafide holds a contest for the best related Guild Wars Jokes in Tyria! Sadly Thorn is running out of ideas, if you have that "killer" Joke at the event, you might just find yourself with an undedicated Bone Dragon. As the Queen said herself:
"My husband, the late Mad King Thorn, has often been criticized for his... shall we say, "limited repertoire" of jokes? Well that rumour shall die as swiftly as a dancing mesmer on an open square. The Queen asks for the greatest pranksters and jesters to find the best Halloween joke on Tyria, so that my husband might add it to his collection. The rules are simple:"
-Your joke should be comprehensible for all Tyrians, so preferably it should not contain off world topics. The joke should be about things that all Tyrians are familiar with.
-Your joke should be fitting to the ears of the Queen. This means no swearing or jokes that are in bad taste. The Queen enjoys a polite joke, better than a crude one.
-Your joke should be original. Grenth frowns upon copy paste, as does the Queen. Stealing other people's jokes is not an option.
-The Queen favors jokes that fit with Halloween.
-The Queen also favors jokes that make fun of mesmers, Asura, Charr, dwarves, Ascalons or mesmers.
-People making jokes about necromancers are killed on the spot.

Announcement: LDoA Ceremony
[:1]Legendary Defender of Ascalon, otherwise known as LDoA. Despised by some. Coveted by others. Respected by All. The title that can only be acquired in the realm of Pre-Searing has been tried by many, some ending in failure, others through dedication to the repetitive stages of death leveling, and the will and pride to continue with their quest to own the most sought-after title in everyones pre-searing lives.
TYTN would like to extend out an invitation to all, in joining us for a day that will go down in Pre-Searing history.
For years LDoA has been respected as an achievement earned by the greats of pre-searing. However, never has there been a day when these people are recognized for their achievements to the public of Ascalon. On January 28, 2009 at 9PM Eastern Standard Time,(We understand that some may not be able to attend because of it being on the weekday, however after polling, we have found many more wouldnt be able to attend if it was done on a weekend due to working. So the date has not changed.) Ascalon's First Annual Official LDoA Ceremony will be held in Ascalon City, International District.
Who's invited?
Anyone who holds the Title of LDoA, we would like to see there. We want to honor your achievement, and show you the respect we believe that you deserve for your commitment to the goal. We ask that you show up, wearing your title proud, and join us on the ledge over looking the War going on below. We also ask that you let us know you will be there in advance, so we can get you added to the program, footage, and picture schedule.
We also invite all those that are close enough to the title, to receive it on the 28th. There will be at least 5 members of TYTN that will be accepting the title on the night of the ceremony. We would love to see many more accept it as well. To be a part of this part of the ceremony, we ask that you get your character ready to accept a final experience reward, or ready to kill off the last charr needed for your level at exactly 9PM EST. All TYTN members will be accepting their title at the exact same time. At 9PM EST, watch your screen for the multiple LDoA titles being awarded. At that time, accept your reward, or kill off your last charr, so that your achievement to will be displayed to the public. Our goal is to have 10 people accept the title at once, and get the ceremony started. But we cant do it alone, and would love to see many people take advantage of this once in a lifetime phenomenon. Following the acceptance, we will all gather at the location mentioned above, to begin the ceremony.Again, we ask that you lets us know you will be attending, and give us your current guild Tags, so we can honor the guild that helped you get to where you are.
And last but not least, we invite anyone who wants to attend, to join us in celebrating the accomplishments of everyone who has, or is getting the coveted Title. Come to show your respect for fellow guild members who have achieved the title, or come to show your support for fellow guildies that are aquireing the title on this memorable night.
One thing we do ask, out of respect for the people being recognized on this night, is to stay on the lower platforms of Ascalon city during the ceremony.
We will have people in place, taking pictures of the events, and a videographer on hand, capturing it all so the ceremony can be remembered by everyone.
We will soon post a link to a video showing the "program plan" for the night. This way everyone knows what to expect, and will know where they should stand during the ceremony. Please use this as a guide to help keep things in order, and allow it to run as smooth as possible.
Given the typical atmosphere of MMORPG games, im sure we will have a few people "Crash" the party, and try to disrespect all who are attending. If this happens, we simply ask those who are attending to place the problem maker on ignore, and leave it at that. Getting into a confrontation tends to only fuel the fire, and give them exactly the reaction they want.

My pre searing character isn't even close to LDoA but I'll try to be there to cheer on those legendary defenders.|||Im glad to see that there is a positive response on this forum. Ive posted it in quite a few forums to give everyone a chance at attending, however one in particular seems to be completely against the idea of anything special going on in presearing. We hope to see everyone there, even if your not getting your LDoA, feel free to stop by and meet those who have received the title.|||Quote:

Sorry, but I doubt that will be respected.
Would be cool to see multiple LDoA's getting the title after each other in the major cities. Everyone would be like: WTH!? Look at all the LDoA's!? xD
I just don't have the patience to do it really. my pre mesmer is lvl 14, and bored witless.|||We are definitly expecting for there to be some problem makers there. Some aren't happy simply having fun and enjoying the game, and would rather make a specticle of themselves. Our hope however, is that everyone enjoying the ceremony simply ignore those individuals causing problems. It shows more dignity to hold your tounge then to give them what they want and start public arguements. This will be the true test of the night.
As far as your boredom. Any and every LDoA holder will tell you they go through this stage. However something our guild encourages is to not take your personal game time away by DLing. Instead, only set your DL up at night, when your sleeping anyway, or while you know you are going to be afk for long periods of time.*work/school/etc* You never get bored because your not there anyway, and you dont feel as if your losing out on any of the activities while you are able to be in game. I hope this helps you out, we would love to see more LDoA holders for the next Ceremony|||I think people who do get this title should be respected more. I would come, but my title is only level 8. I have predicted that he will be level 20 by sometime June, so im no where near close enough. Hope everyone who goes there has fun.|||At lvl 8 I cant get you there in time for the ceremony, but I can definitly help you get it before June. If your interested, get with me in game, and we will work out a timeframe where we can level you up, and get you on your way to LDoA. I hope we will at least see you at the ceremony cheering on those getting and who have received the title!

Our goal is to have 10 people accept the title at once, and get the ceremony started. But we cant do it alone, and would love to see many people take advantage of this once in a lifetime phenomenon. Following the acceptance, we will all gather at the location mentioned above, to begin the ceremony.Again, we ask that you lets us know you will be attending, and give us your current guild Tags, so we can honor the guild that helped you get to where you are.
And last but not least, we invite anyone who wants to attend, to join us in celebrating the accomplishments of everyone who has, or is getting the coveted Title. Come to show your respect for fellow guild members who have achieved the title, or come to show your support for fellow guildies that are aquireing the title on this memorable night.
One thing we do ask, out of respect for the people being recognized on this night, is to stay on the lower platforms of Ascalon city during the ceremony.
We will have people in place, taking pictures of the events, and a videographer on hand, capturing it all so the ceremony can be remembered by everyone.
We will soon post a link to a video showing the "program plan" for the night. This way everyone knows what to expect, and will know where they should stand during the ceremony. Please use this as a guide to help keep things in order, and allow it to run as smooth as possible.
Given the typical atmosphere of MMORPG games, im sure we will have a few people "Crash" the party, and try to disrespect all who are attending. If this happens, we simply ask those who are attending to place the problem maker on ignore, and leave it at that. Getting into a confrontation tends to only fuel the fire, and give them exactly the reaction they want.

Would be cool to see multiple LDoA's getting the title after each other in the major cities. Everyone would be like: WTH!? Look at all the LDoA's!? xD
I just don't have the patience to do it really. my pre mesmer is lvl 14, and bored witless.|||We are definitly expecting for there to be some problem makers there. Some aren't happy simply having fun and enjoying the game, and would rather make a specticle of themselves. Our hope however, is that everyone enjoying the ceremony simply ignore those individuals causing problems. It shows more dignity to hold your tounge then to give them what they want and start public arguements. This will be the true test of the night.
As far as your boredom. Any and every LDoA holder will tell you they go through this stage. However something our guild encourages is to not take your personal game time away by DLing. Instead, only set your DL up at night, when your sleeping anyway, or while you know you are going to be afk for long periods of time.*work/school/etc* You never get bored because your not there anyway, and you dont feel as if your losing out on any of the activities while you are able to be in game. I hope this helps you out, we would love to see more LDoA holders for the next Ceremony|||I think people who do get this title should be respected more. I would come, but my title is only level 8. I have predicted that he will be level 20 by sometime June, so im no where near close enough. Hope everyone who goes there has fun.|||At lvl 8 I cant get you there in time for the ceremony, but I can definitly help you get it before June. If your interested, get with me in game, and we will work out a timeframe where we can level you up, and get you on your way to LDoA. If you would like to donate some ingredients to us you are more than welcome to do so, feel free to pm Hara Makoto in game. We are also likely to be throwing a few activities in as well, with some prizes, although this is yet to be confirmed . I will post details of this later on when we have got some organised side activities later on, such as a quiz.

We will be hosting districts throughout the day, as listed above, we will be altering between districts, so that people can not camp out in districts afk and simply reap in benifits. We want people in the districts to be getting involved!

Alas, the time has come for another of my events, which means I have to organise another district of people who are all looking forward to a smashing Canthan New Year. So, I bring you an opportunity to turn up the heat this New year-a cookalong! Yes, that’s right, its time to get your ovens on to 180˚C and start chopping your onions, as I remake the Canthan New Year classics with 2 willing volunteers for each dish. With a bit of fun and games to add a bit of extra time, who can resist our menu of:

* Special Celestial salad
* Kappa shell soup
* Spider legs served 2 different ways
* And to finish-Canthan Truffle Delight!!!

Unfortunately I've got a lot less free time on my hands this year, that's why I'm posting this at such short notice. Anyway, I've been able to put aside a little time Friday evening, and will be able to do a run in case there's anyone who wants to go to the party but don't have the time to get there.
I'll be able to get you there from almost anywhere in Tyria. Here's the planned times to start off from the main stops:
21:00 GMT - Ascalon (3 passengers)
22:00 GMT - Lion's Arch (5 passengers)
22:20 GMT - Temple of Ages (7 passengers)
We should probably be at The Henge of Denravi no later than 23:00 GMT.
If nobody needs to get on "the bus" before LA, it would be nice if passengers are ready to go from LA at 21:00 GMT. Or I may just do something completely different for an hour
Sign up in this thread for the run, first come first served. Make sure to include your character name (I need to know who to look for) and where you will need a run from. If you don't want to post your character name in public you can send me a forum PM with your character name, but you still need to post in the thread to reserve your seat.
I will check the thread one hour or less before I start the running, meaning if you sign up after 20:00 GMT I may miss you.
You may of course whisper me ingame and ask if I've got a spare seat in case you're late. My main character, ranger and runner is known by the name Jersey Cuthalion.
One more thing... Please do not sign up unless you intend to be at the party with that character. This express is intended for party-goers. However if I can't get a full party with party-goers I don't mind taking additional passengers, you may ask me ingame. The more the merrier

Sign up in this thread for the run, first come first served. Make sure to include your character name (I need to know who to look for) and where you will need a run from. If you don't want to post your character name in public you can send me a forum PM with your character name, but you still need to post in the thread to reserve your seat.
I will check the thread one hour or less before I start the running, meaning if you sign up after 20:00 GMT I may miss you.
You may of course whisper me ingame and ask if I've got a spare seat in case you're late. My main character, ranger and runner is known by the name Jersey Cuthalion.
One more thing... Please do not sign up unless you intend to be at the party with that character. This express is intended for party-goers. However if I can't get a full party with party-goers I don't mind taking additional passengers, you may ask me ingame. The more the merrier

[SCAR] would like to host an event to all the community; this is to celebrate both Guild Wars upcoming 4th year birthday as well as Easter! It’s an opportunity to bring many aspects of the Guild Wars community together and bring what has been described as a game dying out back to life! To succeed in trying to bring the community together we will be approaching from all variety of angles, including fun events run through forums, radio and in-game.
Our guild donations are only just trickling in, but can already announce we will be giving away well over 1000 ecto and 1000 q9 gold/greens in prizes and giveaways! This will only continue increasing over the coming weeks...watch here :)
We will be hosting the main event in Kamadan ID1 21st March 3pm EST / 7pm GMT!
We will be splitting the event into 4 sections.
In-game:
Best dressed - you will be judged on how smart you look, your colour coordination and armour style. The decision of the judges on the day will be final. Prizes will include a new set of elite armour plus dyes!
Worst dressed - you will be judged on how scruffy you are, your lack of colour and appalling armour combinations. The decision of the judges on the day will be final. Prizes will include a new set of elite armour plus dyes!
Trivia – questions will be asked, first person to answer correctly will win an ecto per correct answer.
“Simon says…” – this will be a version of “mad king says” as played at Halloween. Participants will be required to follow the actions of the leader and first person to execute correctly will win ectos.

This will be a lead up event to the big day and we hope you will have fun participating. The thread for this will be released Friday 13th March and will last 7 days. Prizes for this event will be equally substantial as the Scavenger Hunt so keep your eyes peeled!

Lottery – we will be running separate lotteries on both the Guild Wars Guru and GWOnline fansites so you can all have a chance at playing with the fortunes!
The entry for this lottery will be FREE, and each fansite will have 100 slots each. These will be separately run lotteries. Only ONE entry is allowed though per person between both lotteries.
The 1st prize for the lottery will be 100 ecto, 2nd an armbrace, 3rd 25 ecto!

Purpose:
The MantleCon event has existed since Saul D’Alessio founded the White Mantle. At first it was to raise morale, but when our beloved Saul D’Alessio passed from this world, it became an event not just of celebration, but of mourning. Time passed, and MantleCon once more became an event of joy and celebration. When our Unseen Lords were in trouble, we opened the event to the public and named it the Mursaat Rally to show our support to the Unseen Ones and our wish to help them recover.
MantleCon of the past
But now that time has passed, just as the time of mourning of Saul has. And now it has been decided to return the name back to MantleCon, but keep it open for all to join!
During this event, instead of just showing our support for our Unseen Lords, we shall show off our wish to know about their ancient enemy, the Seers. This we wish for to know their weakness, their homeland, and their strengths. Know thy enemy so that they can fall harder when they face the wrath of the White Mantle!
And, last but far from least, TO HAVE FUN!

While “Mad King Says” is the most dangerous game in all of Tyria, the game of “Konig Says” is the less generous game in all of Tyria, but is just as fun. There will be specific rules announced at MantleCon. But do not worry; all participating will get their just rewards if they follow the rules.
Invasion of a Golem!
Word has reached our ears and warned us of an impending attack by a Golem! It is up to you to defeat the Golem when it appears. Do what is needed to defeat the Golem and be rewarded for your efforts. May the Unseen Ones protect you.
Redux at the end!
In order to get those of all time areas, at 6:00 PM GMT-6 (10:00 AM GMT+10), we will hold a shorter redux. It will include a second speech by Gmr Leon, another costume contest – Jade Armor themed - and another chance at Gambling, Trivia, and Collectors.

Side Activities:
Gambling
An event is not an event without gambling so we are sure to have four thirty minute sessions of gambling held by Free Runner [D1], and Kazera Wolfsbane [D2] during the event. Times for the Gambling Tables is mentioned in the above Schedule.
Collectors
While the Gambling Tables are gambling away, two collectors will be around. Collectors Justiciar Jair [D1] and ______ [D2] will be collecting various trophies from our enemies for Ales, Sweets, and Party Items. So be sure to bring your Decayed Orr Emblems for Ales, Maguuma Manes for Sweets, and Molten Claws for Party Items. The item you turn in will decide what you get as a reward. Need three of said item per minute or point. They will only be collecting for thirty minutes each time. Specific times are stated in the above Schedule.
Trivia
Sir Jack will be hosting Trivia quizzes in ID2 for prizes. These trivia questions will be based around the Mursaat, White Mantle, Kryta, Seers, Bloodstones, Asura, and general Guild Wars Lore. Times of the quizzes are stated in the above Schedule.
Up to Four Districts!
If it comes to it, we have prepared enough ales, sweets, party items, and staff to host four districts. While the main festivities will only be in ID1 and ID2, if you cannot get into either, you can still have fun!
Additional Goodies:
Staff of the Unseen Ones given out!
To all the loyal Unseen Ones fans, a special Staff of the Unseen Ones will be given out to all those who donate 20 points (Drunkard, Party Animal, Sweet Tooth) worth of items to Konig Des Todes. This means: Ales (1/5 points each), Tonics (2 points each), Fireworks (1/3 points each), and sweets (1/2/3 points each). Only 50 staves will be supplied. Each person cannot get more then one staff.

Purpose:
The MantleCon event has existed since Saul D’Alessio founded the White Mantle. At first it was to raise morale, but when our beloved Saul D’Alessio passed from this world, it became an event not just of celebration, but of mourning. Time passed, and MantleCon once more became an event of joy and celebration. When our Unseen Lords were in trouble, we opened the event to the public and named it the Mursaat Rally to show our support to the Unseen Ones and our wish to help them recover.
MantleCon of the past
But now that time has passed, just as the time of mourning of Saul has. And now it has been decided to return the name back to MantleCon, but keep it open for all to join!
During this event, instead of just showing our support for our Unseen Lords, we shall show off our wish to know about their ancient enemy, the Seers. This we wish for to know their weakness, their homeland, and their strengths. Know thy enemy so that they can fall harder when they face the wrath of the White Mantle!
And, last but far from least, TO HAVE FUN!

While “Mad King Says” is the most dangerous game in all of Tyria, the game of “Konig Says” is the less generous game in all of Tyria, but is just as fun. There will be specific rules announced at MantleCon. But do not worry; all participating will get their just rewards if they follow the rules.
Invasion of a Golem!
Word has reached our ears and warned us of an impending attack by a Golem! It is up to you to defeat the Golem when it appears. Do what is needed to defeat the Golem and be rewarded for your efforts. May the Unseen Ones protect you.
Redux at the end!
In order to get those of all time areas, at 6:00 PM GMT-6 (10:00 AM GMT+10), we will hold a shorter redux. It will include a second speech by Gmr Leon, another costume contest – Jade Armor themed - and another chance at Gambling, Trivia, and Collectors.

Gambling
An event is not an event without gambling so we are sure to have four thirty minute sessions of gambling held by Free Runner [D1], and Kazera Wolfsbane [D2] during the event. Times for the Gambling Tables is mentioned in the above Schedule.
Collectors
While the Gambling Tables are gambling away, two collectors will be around. Collectors Justiciar Jair [D1] and ______ [D2] will be collecting various trophies from our enemies for Ales, Sweets, and Party Items. So be sure to bring your Decayed Orr Emblems for Ales, Maguuma Manes for Sweets, and Molten Claws for Party Items. The item you turn in will decide what you get as a reward. Need three of said item per minute or point. They will only be collecting for thirty minutes each time. Specific times are stated in the above Schedule.
Trivia
Sir Jack will be hosting Trivia quizzes in ID2 for prizes. These trivia questions will be based around the Mursaat, White Mantle, Kryta, Seers, Bloodstones, Asura, and general Guild Wars Lore. Times of the quizzes are stated in the above Schedule.
Up to Four Districts!
If it comes to it, we have prepared enough ales, sweets, party items, and staff to host four districts. While the main festivities will only be in ID1 and ID2, if you cannot get into either, you can still have fun!

To all the loyal Unseen Ones fans, a special Staff of the Unseen Ones will be given out to all those who donate 20 points (Drunkard, Party Animal, Sweet Tooth) worth of items to Konig Des Todes. This means: Ales (1/5 points each), Tonics (2 points each), Fireworks (1/3 points each), and sweets (1/2/3 points each). Only 50 staves will be supplied. Each person cannot get more then one staff.

History of the Ascalon Royal Family Masquerade Ball
The Ascalon Royal Family Masquerade Ball is a long forgotten formal event, engraved into history years before the searing. The Kingdom of Ascalon was once prosperous, led by King Adelbern and the Royal Family. During such times the ball was the yearly celebration to celebrate the wealth and beauty that was Ascalon. But alas, The Searing as it has come to be known shattered the hearts of men. The ball had been forgotten for many years. Lord Sojar, in his travels, stumbled upon an old text depicting a dance festival of epic proportions in the realm of Ascalon since past. Intrigued, he did further research. After painstaking tasks, Lord Sojar begged the wealthiest of the lords of Ascalon and surrounding kingdom of Kryta to donate what they saw fit to bring back this beautiful festival. With the return of the Masquerade Ball, a curious wind blew about the place on that night two years ago, many didn’t realize an envoy had arrived. The second year after the ball, people looked for the wandering Lord Sojar, little did they know he had fallen ill and retired to his estate. This time the winds blew stronger as citizens of Ascalon despaired that the ball would not commence. And just when the Festival seemed lost a silk hat landed in the middle of the ball room floor...
Envoy Daniel Frozenwind is back for the Masquerade Ball's third anniversary, retired but determined to sustain the event for one more year!
The theme of this years Ascalon Royal Family Masquerade Ball is Endurance
Why endurance? Let me tell you. Guild Wars has endured for four years and vast changes have occured since the first ball began. Even so the community side of the game that brings the community together to have fun seems to grow day by day, as is evident by the sheer amount of support I got when I asked for help to create this event for its third year. Ascalon has endured many long years and has seen much heart ache. It is time to warm the hearts of the Ascalonian people once more for they represent the most endurance of all!

Drinks: Alcoholic beverages will come at a cost of 25 gold pieces per customer, limit 5 per customer for the duration of the ball. Please, please, PLEASE! Do NOT switch users and accounts just to get more ale, this is a mutual respect issue. If we have ale thieves taking more then their share, other guests may not be able to purchase. At the END of the ceremony, alcohol will be sold for 50g each until they are gone. All proceeds will go towards a charity fund. Limit as end of ceremony is 20 per customer unless otherwise stated after closing ceremonies.
Food: Sugary delights will be 35 gold pieces per unit, limit 3 per customer for the duration of the ball. Please abide by the above policy and requests as this is only fair, again, to the rest of the guests! Thanks!

DRINKS AND SWEETS : A small fee will be charged for food and drink.
Drinks: Alcoholic beverages will come at a cost of 25 gold pieces per customer, limit 5 per customer for the duration of the ball. Please, please, PLEASE! Do NOT switch users and accounts just to get more ale, this is a mutual respect issue. If we have ale thieves taking more then their share, other guests may not be able to purchase. At the END of the ceremony, alcohol will be sold for 50g each until they are gone. All proceeds will go towards a charity fund. Limit as end of ceremony is 20 per customer unless otherwise stated after closing ceremonies.
Food: Sugary delights will be 35 gold pieces per unit, limit 3 per customer for the duration of the ball. Please abide by the above policy and requests as this is only fair, again, to the rest of the guests! Thanks!
Party Items:assorted goodies will be randomly distributed and may NOT be requested. At the END of the closing ceremony, these items may be purchased in packs of 4 for 100 gold pieces or for 30 gold pieces per unit, limit 8 per customer. Again, all proceeds will go to a charitable fund.
Rules.
(These are set in place so we can have fun and things go very smoothly.) Because I do not have GM powers or anything of the sort, I cannot directly inforce these, so it is my hopes we will have a mutual respect and act civil. The less drama, the more fun!
If Daniel Frozenwind asks for the district to cease all public chat, it is for an announcement. It will be in your best interest to cease typing in public so that he can have "the floor."
Respect each other, don't be mean to those less fortunate then yourself. Making fun of someone for being excited about a green you may find worthless isn't the right thing to do. Treat others with kindness and humility.
Do not spam emotes or text. It clutters public chat, and makes it so hard for proper communication if necessary. This goes back to mutual respect.

yeah since they didn't explain it, it bugged me, so I hunted.
It's actually something like their distance graphics toned down... run closer and you get better graphics... far away looks a bit muddled.|||Xycury is right.
It allows 3D objects to be very detailed when close-up. But it draws objects that are further away, with less detail. Age of Conan: Hyborian Adventures uses it if you want an example.

Do you want a copy of Nightfall Collectors Edition? Or Collectors pin The Aura of the Lich or a super rare Eve collectable figurine?
It�s time to return to the beginning of the game. Relive once again the joyful days when Ascalon was young. A time of green grasses and trees so tall, clean clear water and little girls playing in the meadow dancing with a flute.
This contest will only exist in Pre and you are invited to join us for this adventure. We seek a hero who has both skill and wisdom. The challenge is not hard but you will have to think for the limits are real and imposed by the game.
We challenge you to a simple race. The first person to Level 10 with No Deaths prior to crossing over with the requested screenshots for a proof will be the winner. As we have several prizes 1 Nightfall Collectors Edition, 8 Aura of the Litch Pins, and 1 Eve Collectors Figurine. We have agreed to award the top 10 winners with a prize.
The prizes will be awarded as shown below.
1st A Nightfall collector�s edition or the figurine.
2nd gets the prize not selected by the winner.
3rd to 10th will be awarded the collector pins.
