GW Site for Newcomers

To get new players involved in GW, a new site has been opened called discoverguildwars.com which details information for all the GW games released so far as a quick overview. While it won't be of interest to seasoned players here on GW: IncGamers it may be of interest to those who are yet to check out the expansions.|||Umm, I don't wanne say much, but well, since I'm no newcomer I know that this site was up long long long ago.. anyway it seems like they have updated it for a third time :)|||Kinda nice overview...not enough detail though..some nice images|||Is this the "new site" that Emily been talking about?

why is that monk using mending?|||It may be a personal pet peve, but it really irks me when a site's opening page is flash, if you need flash for videos, thats fine, I just know if a sites opening page is flash, I seldom bother to go any farther.|||Anyone else notice how Kryta and Ascalon look when you hover over the GWEN link?



Kryta looks like a wasteland and Ascalon even more than it used to.|||And you're suggesting that that means what?

Not suggesting a thing, I just found it peculiar and wanted to point it out.|||Meh, seems more like just an advertisement trying to get people to buy GW rather than a resource site to help new players get into it (which is what I thought when I saw this thread).

And agreed with Saucermote, the flash is really annoying (not to mention slow).

Probably just the distortion of the image. It looks like the default map image rather than some future GW2 map to me.
