Massively.com opens up weekly GW column!!

[:1]So one of our own GWO Alliance member's has gotten their own weekly column on Massively.com!! Ari Balifor, one of the guild offices of TRUE is a awesome writer and this column is turning out to be really good. Stop by Massively and check out her column!!!!!!

http://www.massively.com/2010/01/25/...to-guild-wars/|||The link doesn't work. :sad

Edit: While the link doesn't work, I managed to find Ari's column. Great stuff there (especially the way Anet will handle the sound effects in GW2).|||Oh noes! I've been outed! (Awww, thanks Vicki, you are super sweet.)

At any rate, here is the correct link, and a link to my general work for Massively. I've written quite a bit about my very favoritest game. (Someone else actually linked to one of my stories in these forums recently, but I was a bit shy of speaking up and saying "hey, I wrote that!")|||What ya know? I linked to your article and I didn't even noticed!!

You should have said it was you. (glad I didn't say anything bad about it!)|||New column up now. That one was fun to write. I wanted to call it "How do I get a hat?", but wound up being all informative and stuff. ;-)|||Quote:

Links pl0x.|||All right here. That page is all of the GW columns, with the newest at the top. (And there will be a new one today. Just scroll down a tiny bit to find the Canthan New Year one.)|||Nice enough article that I joined and left the first comment (Emmet).|||I particularly liked the last of the articles, good work! And the "snowman suicide" picture made me giggle again

Try playing the game like you did way back when.

I can recommend this advice for everyone! I created a new Tyrian "simulated first character" almost a year ago and set forth a few rules for myself to play by; not using other characters to get skills, armor or weapons, not getting run anywhere (as if I ever do that anyway..) and finally no henchies or heroes, just like in the old BWE's. I've played with PUGs as much as possible, otherwise I've been going completely solo. Only times I've broken my "no h/h" rule is when the team needed to fill up the last spot or two for a mission, one healer henchie or hero dosn't ruin the fun of PUG play. And indeed great fun it's been, all the way up to the Crystal Desert where's she's been hiding for a while. I should get on to playing this character a little more again pretty soon|||Quote:

Yes! That was absolutely my favorite pic. I love sneaking allies in whenever I can.
