The event will last 2 hours, and during this time there will be 4 main events happening each half hour. We will also be giving away golds/greens randomly over the 2 hours.

The 4 main events will be:

Penguin Shuffle - this will be a race across the bridge in Lion’s Arch, you are not allowed to run, just shuffle across the bridge. 1st Prize will be 3 consets, 2nd 2 consets, 3rd 1 conset. This is a silly event. Just click the base of your feet to hop forward. The judges decision is final

The Price Is Right - An item will be advertised in trade - first person to get the correct price/order of the item/s will win an ecto.

Best Dressed - choose your smartest outfit, best dyes and all round glad rags to win the prizes. 1st Prize 75k + 5 Black Dye, 2nd Prize, 3 Black + 6 White dyes, 3rd Prize 2 Black + 4 White dyes.

Worst Dressed - in desperate need of a fashion transplant? Have no sense of style or colour? Then this contest is for you. 1st Prize 75k + 5 Black Dyes, 2nd Prizes 3 Black + 6 White dyes, 3rd Prize 2 Black + 4 White dyes.

General GW knowledge questions - we will be asking numerous GW related questions and the first person to get the right answer will win an ecto.

----

In addition to the events taking place in Lion’s Arch we will be running a side event. This event will require you to be in a team of three so bring your friends and guildies along if you wish to take part! The winning team will win a set of FoW armor EACH! 2nd Prize will be an armbrace each and 3rd prize a destroyer weapon each! More details on this event will be announced closer to the date.

And to challenge you we have come up with another fun event to get your brains working! Over the next few days we shall release a number of anagrams of places/bosses from all 4 Guild Wars campaigns. Some examples:

I will post up new anagrams frequently, and on the final day I will post up the final set along with an email address to send the answers to. First person to mail us with the correct answer wins.

Periodically I will update the table with the name, and if I detect someone has a duplicate number I will say so.

You are responsible for choosing a free number. Read carefully through the replies to this post before choosing, just in case I've not updated when you want to enter.

If someone has chosen the same number as you, then the first person to have chosen it will get the slot.

No one from DVDF or associations with DVDF is allowed to enter this contest or any contests .

The process will be like this, at some point during the event, myself and two guests will team up and go outside of LA. I will then /roll 100 twice. One number will be GWO's winner, the other Guru. The guests role is to make sure the /roll is done fair and square. The winner will be announced on my return to LA.

Don't know if I'll make it to the event but I'll try.

Small question: can you play the lottery on GWO and GWG?|||74. Troy Callindrael

I choose #43, Midnight Special. sounds like fun, but don't expect me to be in the fashion shows.|||Guess I'll take 17: Zero Djinn|||Quote:

Not if they're using 2 accounts, but if it's the same account, you could check it "easily". By easily, I mean it'd take a fairly long time to check them all by constantly adding/removing names from the friends list.

I'm guessing since you're a pretty big alliance, you could split it up to several players making it faster. Suppose people have 30 spots left.

Splitting 10 from GWO - 20 names from GWG (see if the group of 10 people matches any of the 20 from GWG), you'd need 5 players to check those 10 names for all 100 people from GWG.

Multiply by 10 so you can check all 100 names from GWO, and you'd need about 50 people adding 30 names to their friends list.

Meh. It's doable, but it'd be troublesome.

I'll make it easy and sign up with the same name on GWG|||#88: Ancient Serenity
